Reading cookbooks is what originally inspired me to learn to cook and continues to be my principal source of inspiration. I love the immortality of books - I hope my books remain (dog-eared and sticky) in cooks libraries long after I'm here writing them. I also wrote a popular "Deli" column in the "Evening Standard" magazine (ES), and I contribute to various other publications including olive magazine, in addition to travel writing for in-flight magazines and newspapers. I am a member of The Guild of Food Writers and The Society of Authors.
