I was contacted by Mark Elphick the other day, who is the founder of a fabulous new business project called URBAN VEGETABLES. www.urbanvegetables.co.uk
Clearly, veg growing is the new rock ‘n’ roll, and this is the perfect solution for getting people started (if they can’t be bothered to figure it out for themselves and have a budget to spend). I think it could be a huge hit with schools, maybe even homeless or rehab centres etc., to get people involved in a healthy teamwork project.
Mark says, “I am a keen believer in the good that veg growing can do for people who might be on the fringes of society, so community action is a great idea.”
